Senior Center

The Senior Center is located in the Sangrena Woods subdivision. The senior’s program has been going strong for over 20 years. The center strives to create a welcoming environment that all seniors will enjoy.
Center hours are Monday thru Friday, from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Seniors enjoy activities such as health and exercise classes, arts and crafts, day trips, shopping trips and hot meals. The center includes a billiards room, sewing room, as well as computers for use. They also participate in several fund raisers to help support many of these activities.
Transportation is available, if necessary.

Rental Fees
Field Rentals:

Individuals may rent the fields at either Pooler Park on Rogers Street for a fee of $50 per field per day, or at the Recreation Complex located on the Pooler Parkway for a fee of $150 per field per day. Field availability will be determined by the Recreation Department.

The fields may be rented to host tournaments, sports camps, or individual games.

The individual must complete a rental agreement, and fulfill the terms of the agreement to rent the fields.

The Pooler Recreation Department reserves the right to determine which fields may be rented, and when. We also reserve the right to deny individuals or groups the right to rent the facilities.
Event Equipment Rentals:
- For certain events, individuals may rent pitching machines at either Pooler Park on Rogers Street for a fee of $25 per machine per day, or at the Recreation Complex located on the Pooler Parkway for a fee of $25 per machine per day. Pitching machine availability will be determined by the Recreation Department.
- Pitching machines may be rented to host tournaments, sports camps, or individual games.
- The individual must complete a rental agreement, and fulfill the terms of the agreement to rent the pitching machines.
- The Pooler Recreation Department reserves the right to deny individuals or groups the right to rent the machines.
Building Rentals:
- Individuals may rent the Community Center located in the Sangrena Woods subdivision. Center availability will be determined by the Recreation Department, on a first come, first serve basis.
- Fee of $100 a day and a refundable deposit of $50 when you return key.
- The center may be rented to host parties, meetings receptions, etc.
- The individual must complete a rental agreement, and fulfill the terms of the agreement to rent the center.
- We reserve the right to deny individuals or groups the right to rent the facilities.
- The Recreation Department does not rent the gymnasium for any activities.
- All other Recreation facilities (picnic shelters, tennis courts) are used on a first come, first serve, and basis
